*At this time, we are not offering any lifeguard training.
Lifeguard Training will be offered as an online blended format again this year.ج As students complete the online classroom sessions, we will schedule in-person skill sessions on the weekends.ج The skill session dates listed below are independent of one another.ج A participant who has completed the online training only needs to attend and successfully complete one skill session weekend.
The cost for the Lifeguard Training course is $350 per participant.ج Those participants who join the CU LG Staff will receive a $200 reimbursement.ج The fee includes Lifeguard, First-Aid, and CPR certifications. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.ج Our lifeguarding program will help students develop skills that will be of value to future employers.ج Please be aware there are several prerequisites (listed below) which must be met on the first day in order to continue in the program.ج Students should practice these skills as needed before beginning the class, as there are no refunds given once the class has started.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer recertification is $100.ج CPR recertification participants are expected to provide their own rescue mask.ج Register early to ensure your choice of classes.
Please note: This Lifeguard certification course is only offered as training for lifeguards at swimming pools only.
